Review:
I give this one five to cast, but dull and predictable scenario two, which inexplicably appeared on the Black List of the best scripts not manufactured - which category should have stayed. In development hell for years, have at least undergone a major overhaul to simplify the story (who walks everywhere and gets worse minutes) and high tone up chute. Regardless of studio executives put on the blacklist to stop sniggering about dirty words and earn money to find out exactly what constitutes a good script. Wahlberg is always a pleasure to spend time, but many of falsehood and clunkiest car chase scenes ever to defeat their efforts to entertain. So much of the film is predictable and many scenes are just actors going through their paces with inferior materials. Beautiful, beautiful Catherine Zeta Jones is completely lost on this piece of Dreck. Somewhere in this film that could initially was a good idea about the corruption of the city. Unfortunately, no one seems to have the courage to get to the throat, beat him in the form and present it to the public with any intelligence, style or originality. As the header says, this is paint by numbers.
