I will not give ratings of 10 lightly, but here it is - the first film in the years that it is winning the rating.Neill Blomkamp screens brings a wonderful, gritty, realistic piece of science fiction with District 9. Not because Ridley Scott's Blade Runner, a John Carpenter The Thing, or James Cameron the Aliens seen science fiction film with a vision of this caliber. After seeing District 9, it will be clear to one and all why Peter Jackson put so much trust in Blomkamp and took him under his wing as Prot? G?. Releasing the usual configuration of Hollywood sci-fi and puts us in the harsh slums of South Africa, we get an original piece of work that takes risks in the way tells her story. Not only goes against the expectations of the public, who are trained to expect mediocrity of their sci-fi, goes above and beyond the duty to provide entertainment as well as something to think about after we demolished our popcorn.There us Fortunately, this is not overused, overexposed celebrity in sight, and each unknown face in the film gives a solid performance. The aliens themselves, brilliantly made with top notch CGI even managed to make us feel something, matched only by Gollum from Lord of the Rings.District 9 has like so much. His dramatic, dark fun, entertaining and thoughtful all at the same time, and all done in a paltry $ 30 million budget. This is where to look. Talent here If only more movies like this, the world of the film more interesting place.
