Review:
Ill state my credentials in front: Im a girl. I read X-Men comics in my past, but its been years. I do not remember every detail of every relationship and back story, so I'm not a big expert in X-Men. I like the original X-Men movie and X2.I was so excited when I learned that he had a Wolverine movie offered. He and Gambit were my two favorite characters from the comics, Wolverine and was by far the best written and acted more characters from X-Men franchise. I thought it must be good! I count the days until he leaves. And I went to the theater, and leaves disappointed but not excited. It was a middle-of-the-road movie, which apparently does not know what he wanted to be. But I'd say go see it if you have an X-Men or fan.The Hugh Jackman major crime committed in Wolverine written. I always say that writers do not get enough credit for a good movie. But no amount of good acting (virtually all Wolverine does well with what they are given) and driving can cover up writing crap like this okay. The script is all over the place. He has no sense of joyful still nervous the first two X-Men films. Wolverines smart jokes and white, but all was forgotten. He wouldve well maybe if they chose to make the character Wolverine dark, almost evil he should have been before he lost his memory. But they did not. He was not good or bad. This was ambivalent Wolverine. Type Emo Wolverine. Above do evil, but not really into it because it made him feel bad. There are very interesting lines or plot points anyway. The authors apparently do not even know how to develop the relationship between Wolverine and Sabertooth. And the love story sitting in the studio just to satisfy our puppies wouldnt go see a comic book movie without him? If so, the studio has a great injustice, because if you wanted to do a story about Wolverine lover (which, hey, I'll see), this movie was not. And when I saw the trailer for Gambit in the movie, I was excited! Gambit in a movie at last! But here he is, underdevelopment and the kind of scuffle. He could at least have his New Orleans accent? The cards were cool, but he is mostly unexplored and not feel like Gambit much.The film has some good moments in it where you want to say, yes! I'm not spoilers, so I'll tell you what they are, but for me, the film is worth seeing. Although I would not put it anywhere on my list of worst movie, I would not classify it with X-Men and X2 in my favorites list, too.
