Review:
I'm just shocked at all the negative reviews of pseudo-intellectual says the film was heavily flawed, incomprehensible, devoid of merit, and the lame, to quote a few. What are they waiting for? A remake of 2001: A Space Odyssey. Sure, I will not pretend that the film does not have many glaring weaknesses. The plot is hardly original, it remains to be less inspiring. Roland Emmerich goes out of his way to use every cliche book, over-sentimentality, weak, flat characterizations, incredible leap of logic and reasoning in the viewer, and the use of special effects of these deficiencies. But what some of the reviewers was missed, and it will correct the huge popularity of the film's heart. The film has a lot of heart. It makes you feel good when you look at it. And although the quality does not make it a great movie, it definitely makes it a good movie in my book. The film is highly entertaining, very exciting, joy to the eyes teasing special effects, and even some of the dialogue, which is not exactly above the hackneyed origin. The acting is adequate and no one around to pull off a great performance, but few do a great job with what they have to work. Judd Hirsch is an easy way out to his colleagues as the father of the Jewish gift for common sense and lack of tact. Jeff Goldblum also gives a pretty good performance as his son. Yeah, Will Smith is the only Will Smith .. a lot of one-liners and little meat, so to speak. But he has to endure. Beware of outrageous Brent Spiner in the role of a hippie scientist. His performance is a real hoot! If you are looking for a philosophical science fiction, is not it. See Starship Troopers (a great movie). This is just good old American thing in the universe, a lot of action, but little substance. But what may be at fault, it's a fun, happy, sad, charming, interesting movie to watch ... again and again.
