Review:
I just saw this movie today, the day it opened here. I am deeply, deeply moved.Ive begin backstage abandoned New York after the apocalypse. They were so very, very moving and very, very compelling. Clips in trailers for the film was good, but you really need to see the full range of close-ups, shot from a distance, etc, to really appreciate the true extent of what the film shows. There is something on the beach and Resident Evil, and any number of disaster movies and zombie movies here. But none of them do justice to the New York show here. This is New York, we see the major and micro-scale to show us the environment in which the protagonist is acting.And Will Smith is simply brilliant as the sole survivor Robert Neville . Do pervasive and persuasive performed on a script that really focuses on giving us a picture of what it would be ... to be the last man on earth, living on the land in New York. This is the real strength of this movie: it's really not much blood or gore or zombie scene in general. But I was riveted as Robert goes through his typical day in New York. Every moment was full of passion and full of fear, too. And now and then, we have exemption from Smiths trademark humor that blended seamlessly with the rest of its implementation to give us what it would be with a powerful delivery that just gives me breathless.Theres almost effective use of flashbacks, some of which tell the story of how we are to where they were in this gloomy New York, and flashbacks also serve to give us a strong contrast between life before and life after an apocalyptic disaster destroyed city. However, the use of flashbacks friendly, I found it more effective.Cinematography was excellent at all times, the story and the screenplay is brilliant, the use of a dog, Samantha, as the main CRS actor was perfect for showing us both Robert companion and Robert as a lonely, isolated survivor.I will not reveal the end, but I think it is satisfactory as lo slightly as it goes, but not so attractive, from my point of view, since this material. This brings up my one complaint: the title. At the end of the film a sense of the meaning of the title. Although it still seems to me to feel bad and very undignified movie.But the little moan. If you have not seen this movie, and enjoy seeing a really powerful story about living in a post-apocalyptic New York, hey, go see this flick. Its really worth it.
