Review:
I was really surprised with this film criticized for lack of substance. I have seen comments about how there is limited dialogue, and therefore there is no character development, and it is doubtful whether the story. Are we watching the same film? Im thinking that we should not have.Shame dives into the life of a person with a sex addiction. The first 10 minutes of the film introduces him effectively, spirit, relationships with men (including my sister), and only use words to do it. You do not need a lot of dialogue, when emotions are transmitted by facial expressions, good cinematography, and the editing is great. The film is loaded with all the subjective that.Obviously films, but I feel that those who say they do not recognize the characters in general should always be full of them all. I'm not a sex addict, but it is associated with both Fassbender and Mulligan. I have found that the development of both thin and very realistic. Do all that you should always have a Hollywood ending? If all get wrapped up well and leave you with a warm and fuzzy feeling when you walk out of the theater? I do not think so. Anyone who really need it, which may not be able to watch any movie Steve McQueen. Anyone who can appreciate the raw film, thin, beautifully made and has gone an hour shy.
