Just before graduating with a degree in film studies lecturer asked us, what is your favorite movie now? While my peers squirted from Goddard films and obscure German expressionist shorts I sat quietly and thought, my favorite movie my favorite movie since I was seven years old ... So when he came to me, and I muttered, The Goonies, I expected scorn, ridicule, and maybe a little hurt, but he was greeted with shouts and screams and matching Ops Hey you gu-uys! from the rest of the class. You see, there is a unifying thing Goonies, mentioned in a room full of twenty somethings and they will whell up and extremely Sloth Love Chunk or harassing Chinese take tons Thats what I said ... Replacing traps!. And if that room happens to be a pub, several chairs scraping back and half drunk grown men will pick up their shirts, shake their bellies and enjoy the truffle shuffle. People can say Indiana Jones wanna-be, I believe that the definition of the beauty of it all. When we first saw The Goonies, it's like watching your dreams on your screen! Wed like to see Indiana's adventures and escapades in The Goonies, we have seen children that we actually do! They got it as mini India, we assume that we can on the field. However, it is not only an adventure that we love film, love Goonies said. They were like our friends. We were annoyed with them sometimes, and we want to protect, and we laughed at his jokes and rejoiced when they had a brilliant plan. Identifying with the kids was what we loved and why, as adults, we quote them is when we talk about film. I still want to be like Andy, who has dangerous adventures sliding down tunnels and meet the villains in a series of pirate ships ... but of course it would be time to kiss trademarks and Mikey! I also believe that this is why Goonies 2 is so important and interesting concept. We have all grown up together and Id like to see how you're doing now ... I hope that does not disappoint ...
